James M Drives In 4 To Lead Mexico 12U Past OAK CLIFF SOLDIERS

James M drove in four runs on two hits to lead Mexico 12U past Oak Cliff Soldiers 9-7 on Saturday at Kiest Park. James doubled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the second inning, scoring two.

Mexico 12U rallied for the victory despite trailing 7-0 in the first.

Oak Cliff Soldiers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ethan singled, scoring one run, Damion tripled, scoring one run, Dorian singled, scoring one run, Gabriel homered to center field, scoring three runs, and Leo doubled, scoring one run.

Mexico 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on seven hits to take the lead, 9-7. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by James on an 0-2 count that drove in two.

Aileen earned the win for Mexico 12U. The pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Aaron stepped on the mound first for Mexico 12U. The right-handed pitcher gave up nine hits and seven runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking none.

Mexico 12U accumulated 11 hits in the game. Aileen, Aaron, Gael, and James each collected two hits for Mexico 12U. Mexico 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Aileen had the most chances in the field with one.

Oak Cliff Soldiers collected 11 hits in the game. Gabriel led Oak Cliff Soldiers with three runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. Gabriel went 1-for-1 on the day. Damion, Dorian, and Leo each collected two hits for Oak Cliff Soldiers.
