A walk by Jathan put Mexico 12U on the board in the top of the first.

OcTx Rangers flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on two hits to take the lead, 7-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Ellis that drove in two.

Ellis stepped on the hill first for OcTx Rangers. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and two runs (one earned) over one inning, striking out three and walking four.

James M led Mexico 12U with one run batted in.  Aaron and Dharius each collected one hit for Mexico 12U. Mexico 12U had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.

Daniel, Luke, and Ellis each collected one hit for OcTx Rangers. Ellis led OcTx Rangers with one run batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-1 on the day. Jp, Jr, Daniel, and Luke each stole multiple bases for OcTx Rangers. OcTx Rangers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. OcTx Rangers ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 13 stolen bases for the game.
